Tennis is all about great partnerships — and now we’ve found one off the court, too. As the new official partner of Renewaball, we’re giving used tennis balls a second life. Because sustainability, just like tennis, is a team effort.
New Life for Old Balls
From now on, some of the tennis balls we collect across Switzerland are headed to the Netherlands — to Renewaball. There, they’re broken down using an innovative process and turned into brand-new, high-quality tennis and padel balls.
The result? Balls that are ITF-approved, great to play with — and fully recyclable again after use without spreading microplastics.
Smart Collection, Fair Sorting, Fresh Start
We work with tennis clubs all over Switzerland to collect used balls. In the next step they’re sorted by BAND Cooperative in Bern – a social enterprise that provides meaningful jobs for people with disabilities.
After sorting, the balls travel to Renewaball for recycling. And while this is a big step forward, we’re also on the lookout for clever recycling solutions here in Switzerland.
