We recycle tennis balls

What it’s all about

Tennis balls are usually played for a few hours before they end up in the incinerator. We want to change this – with a simple recycling system for all of Switzerland. Get involved!

Why recycle? Why recycle?

Why recycle?

4,000 tons of CO2

are emitted by the production of tennis balls in Switzerland

Up to 80,000 km

that’s how far a ball travels – from the raw materials to the court

30 minutes

to 10 hours

is the average lifespan of a tennis ball

8 million tennis balls

are discarded in Switzerland each year

What happens to the balls?

We are launching a simple recycling system for tennis balls

Tennis clubs throughout Switzerland can set up our collection boxes

Players can throw their old balls in the boxes right after the game

As soon as the containers are full, we collect them free of charge

New raw materials are created from the balls
